Hello there!

I would like to introduce myself as Wendy Ferrante, owner and photographer of Duet Photography, LLC, which was officially launched in 2013! I am primarily based out of the Southern Maryland area, yet I am willing to travel to the greater Maryland, Washington, D.C. & Virginia areas to capture portrait sessions. I specialize in maternity, newborns, families, children, seniors, couples and preschools. I absolutely love what I do!

About ME...

I am a wife & mother to three small children, so needless to say my days are busy & full of activities! I love being a mom & I love to capture memories.

For me, photography is freezing that moment in time that you will always have to reflect upon. As the years go by, I continually find myself smiling while looking through old photos. I am also constantly developing an even deeper passion for the field as I grow in my work. Getting to spend that quality time, whether it be with couples, babies, families, children or seniors, is something I cherish and truly enjoy from the bottom of my heart.

I have gotten to know so many wonderful people over the last several years and I have developed life-long friendships that I will be forever grateful for. For me, there is something to be said when you walk into a home and see framed images of the happy times between family members. They are moments frozen in time that you can truly cherish forever. I want to provide those images to my clients so that every time they walk by the framed picture in their home, they smile or reminisce about that particular time in their life. They are memories that last a lifetime.

Being a wife & mother myself, there is nothing more rewarding than having pictures of my family & children displayed in my home. I love seeing the changes that take place over the years in each of my child's images. Photography is such a beautiful way to capture those subtle changes that you typically wouldn't notice from day-to-day. After all, a photograph is the pause button of life...
